He is at peace now. My heart breaks. There is so much that we can say he will miss, but what we need to remind ourselves is that he isn't missing anything, just simply looking from up above. He will always be my sisters side. As one finishes college, and the other has her first baby. He will always be there as we sit around the dinner table and talk. He will always be there as we take out the dog for a walk. He will always be there no matter where we are.
It's not goodbye, it's see you later.
May you rest in peace Tony. I am grateful that God has taken the pain and suffering away from you. You can now live life to the fullest while showering us with your love from up above.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4I simply ask my bloggy peeps for prayers of comfort. It is never easy to lose a loved one. I know we will come out together as the family unit we are in the end stronger than before. These next two days are going to be hard. Thank you for being awesome bloggy friends. Half of you have already reached out to me and that means the world to me. Amazing the relationships that I have gained. The power of prayer will always be on our side.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. (NIV)
