Boobies Out

Good morning my bloggy peeps.  I hope your morning is going much better than mine. Oh, what happened to me this morning you ask? Let me fill you in.

As I am walking into work, the strap from my dress popped right off.  "holy shit this is effin happening". There was no way I can turn around home to change.  I figured someone would have a safety pin at work.  BETTER, my co-worker keeps a sewing kit.  And she is super duper crafty so she knows her shit.  She sewed the strap back on for me so I can make it through the day.... in like 3 seconds.  She is sewing Queen.  What makes this even funnier is that I always wear a tank top underneath because my D cup breasts are too big for the too small triangular boob shapes and I am at work, don't need the guys staring at my cleavage.  BUT, I rarely wear a bra with it since the dress has pad and when I wear the tank top, I usually feel snug in the dress and somewhat confident of nipples staying warm and not visible.  But for some reason, today I decided to wear a bra.  THANK GOD... because nips would have been out along with big ole boob.   Let's pray the strap lasts till end of day.  Also, thank goodness for mini sweaters that cover my shoulders as well!

Also, I have been having some fun with Instagram and taking way too many self portraits of myself thinking i'm all hot and shit and posting them on GASP Instagram, Twitter and facebook.  I know. crazy.  So you don't feel left out. here ya go!

Modeling agencies, I can be reached by e-mail.  I am available for photo shoots starting next Monday. Don't all jump at once.

Also, just because I die of cuteness with this next picture, I want to make you die of cuteness too:

That's my sweet baby girl Sadie.  I know... I died too.  Love her.

BESIDES Sadie's pic, which self portrait do you like the most?
Also, taking those pics made me miss the days I hauled my camera with me everywhere and took pics.  Think today I'll go for a walk with the camera.  I need some new prints up in our place so it looks somewhat like a home.

Happy Tuesday bloggy peeps.
...and remember, keep the boobies in today.

Good morning with a butt to the face

This morning, I woke up to the dog licking my face.  She then proceeded to turn around AND SIT ON MY FACE while she looked at the hubs praying that he would wake up and play with her.
Yeah, my dog decided to sit on MY FACE. And she didn't even move.  Then she decided she wanted to lay down on my pillow so she laid across it with half her body on my face.

Needless to say, she got me up at 5AM.  Yeah, did I forget to mention this happened at 5AM.  Well, it did.
She is so lucky she is too darn cute.

Also, I am having a girls night tonight.  Impromptu session. SO. FREAKING. EXCITED. I decided to try out a new crock pot recipe.  The girls will be my testers.  If it's good, then we are golden.  If not, us girls will be ordering out. Ha!

Tongiht's gossip topic will be: Who do we want to see play Chris in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.  OH YEAH!

It's Friday...... time to PARTY like you were back in college.  Well, not really, but at least we can pretend to.

Bloggy love bloggy peeps!

I am the retard who sprains her thumb. Seriously.

Holy Moly, it's Thursday! This week has flown by fast!

So, I sprained my thumb.  Who does that? Me.  And that shit hurts a lot. So, I had to get a thumb splint which makes it hard for me to type.  WOMP WOMP.

Yep, that's a thumb splint that I am wearing for a couple of days till it heals itself.

Also, I saw this as my horoscope the other day... I was born to be a blogger!  My sign is Leo.  What's your sign?  Any fellow Leo gals???

How awesome is that! I knew there was a reason I loved blogging.

Also, yesterday my aunt turned 40 and we surprised her at her salon with a cake! Doesn't she look awesome for 40?

And I also went out and bought this baby....

Emily Giffin is my FAVORITE author and I was able to snag a SIGNED copy at Target!!!!!  WINNING!
I am so excited to dive into this baby.  Anyone else bought the book???

And this is the shit that my co-workers do to torment me.  Well, they don't torment me.  My co-workers are awesome.  But they literally taped a dead bug to my desk for me to find when I came back to my desk.

That is a huge dragonfly.  Poor thing.

Happy Thursday bloggy peeps.... go out there and make the best of it and don't sprain your thumb. It's a huge inconvenience!

I am going to get pounded with a shit ton of color while running a 5K... AMAZEBALLS

So, I was reading 90 Percent Blonde blogs and she wrote about The Color Run.  I decided to look into it and see if there is any in my area and BOOM. They have a run in NJ on Sept. 1st and registration opens on August 1st.

So I blew up my bestie's page on FB and forced asked her to participate with me. Let's face it... I raped her FB wall post with CAPS and all and pulled out the bestie card on her telling her the only way I can go is if she went because I know she wouldn't back out on me. Yeah, I pulled that card out and guess what, she caved in. #WINNING

So, I am PUMPED.... Like I told her how awesome she is at least five times in ONE text and that I love her so dam much and that I will help her wash out the color in her hair.  Yeah, I'm an awesome friend.  Be jealous.

So, come August 1st, we are signing up!!!!!!  I. AM. BEYOND. EXICTED.  So this means I need to get my ass up and at least walk.  I would like to run the 5K as much as I can so this shit is on.

Just look at how much fun this is going to be:

This is going to be awesome.  If we have 4+ people, we can create a team.  So, NJ bloggers.... I would love for you to join us.  We are both super fun to be with.  We will make you laugh the whole time.

Me and my sis-in-crime.  See, we are a fun bunch.

TRUST ME. And what a better way for us to meet and we will have fantastic blog post too!!!!!! So, email me and let me know if you want to join too.

Registration opens August 1st and they say it gets sold out fast.  So my behind will be in front of the computer registering.  EEEEK.

What's funny is that the next day, we both are attending our friend's wedding.  Yeah, our table is going to laugh with the awesome stories we will have for them.  And hopefully, all the color is out of my hair.  My hairdresser may have to improvise. ha!

My dream scared the poop out of me

Bloggy peeps, the dream I had last night scared the crap out of me. Man, it felt SO real. My dream was about having babies.  Like, I was pregnant, had the baby, and in the hospital.  In the hospital because something went wrong. I was crying, my hub and baby were nowhere to be found.  I was awake during surgery.  Something was terribly wrong. Then, I died. And the dream was me looking at my new baby and the hubs holding the baby, crying in the corner.  Our friends and family were all there. I was screaming at them.  No one heard me. That is when I woke up. Thank goodness Sadie decided to bark at me so I can get my ass up to walk her. Talk about scary poop. My heart was racing when I got up.

Can we say ANXIETY?!?!?!  I am pretty sure this stemmed from everyone around us getting pregnant and me going into overdrive thinking about when is it REALLY a good time to pop one out and also spending all day Saturday with a bunch of kids and their parents.

I was sitting there watching all the kids play and it was like fairies and bluebirds singing...
but the minute one child hit another one, pushed, cried, whined, disrespected the other kids, disrespected their parent, the sounds immediately changed to bells, alarms, horns, and whistles.
It put a total STOP to the whole do I really want a kid.  Now, don't get me wrong, I know kids are never 100% angels.  And no offense to the kids and their parents I was with on Saturday, but that's what happens when you put more than 10 kids together.  It's GOOD to see that.  Because it makes me really think about the whole baby thing.  And I learn a lot from their parents.  How to raise your children. What to do and what not to do.  I like the way some of them discipline their kids.  Also, some way other parents discipline their kids I don't agree with either. So, for me, it's good to sit back and watch so I can start putting our little game plan together of how we would like to raise our children.  I would assume all parents-to-be do that? Yes? No?

Well, the dream last night scared me to death.  It is a sign that something may go wrong when I have baby?  Do you all believe in those type of signs?  I don't even know if I do. Or is it my anxiety that is just getting to me.  Please note, I supposedly have a HUGE anxiety problem all of a sudden.  So, it is possible that my brain is on overload.  I know, I am not suppose to let my anxiety get to me, but it's a bit hard when it becomes to be a serious issue.  My cardiologist is probably happy with the money he got from when all it was was dam anxiety that makes my heart rate go no slower than 90 beats per minute.

Yeah, this is my anxiety.  I am recognizing it now. Time to de-stress myself and lower my heart rate before I get dizzy.  Ugh.  Life is real funny sometimes huh?

On another note, it's Monday and a new week. I am excited for what this week has to bring.

Other note, I drank a glass of wine while cooking last night.  Felt so nice and relaxing.  I felt like I was one of those rich housewives who drink wine while they cook and come out with a perfect meal. Yeah.... it was a badass moment for me.

Note to self: Pick up bottle of wine. This should be a nightly thing.

Holy shit, I just started a new label: babies.  Shit is getting real. This baby fever needs to get CURED. Any ideas? And having a baby is not a cure at this time.  Think of something else. Seriously. I need help!

Thanking Him

My heart is so sad for what has happened in Aurora, CO.  The lives that were taken by a senseless act of violence is just inexcusable.  But it happened, so all we can do is pray for those who are suffering.  Today, I had in mind that I would write a funny post to make you all laugh.  But that changed this morning when I heard the news.
Today, I ask that you pray with me for everyone affected.
I leave you with a prayer today.

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your plans for me today are for good.  Thank You for putting that vision of victory in my heart.  I ask that You help me put You first in all I do.  Father, bless me in a special way so I can be a blessing to others today.

Today, I challenge you to be a blessing to someone.  A smile alone can be your blessing.

Target = FAIL

Good morning bloggy peeps.
Today is a better day than yesterday.  Thanks so much for the encouraging words.  Man, this blog world of friends truly is a blessing.  XOXO

I want to share a funny story with you.  Last night, the hubs and I were doing some food shopping.  We had to stop at Target to pick up a few items.  As we are there, I remember that we needed some hamburger and hot dog buns.    This is what we found:

Last I checked, hot dog buns were NOT round.  The WHOLE shelf was filled with these.  Clearly, someone put the wrong bags in the plant, but seriously Target, you are going to still put these out?  Target = FAIL

Oh hey, this is me this morning.  Talk about a GREAT curly hair day considering it's going to feel like 110 today in  Jersey with humidity at like 70%.  Humidity = 0; My curly hair = 1.  WINNING

Last night, the pups must have known I was feeling a bit down, so she continued to stuff her rope toy in my face while I laid down on the couch.  This dog LOVES to play fetch.  Like, she can do this for hours all day.

And how super adorable is Sadie here playing the hubs.  Do you see how she is standing/sitting on her hind legs.  This girl will jump HIGH for the toy.  Love her.

Cramps, why on earth do we need to suffer from cramps.  Man, my insides feel like they are being pulled, stabbed, stretched and kicked by the little oompa loompas.  GRRRRRR.  Please let me get through this day without pulling my ovaries out. Guys have it good. If they only knew.

Brain throw up

Man, this day totally went from feeling good to let me find a hole to crawl in to and have no one bother me.

So many things running through my head right now that I can't get a handle of them.  They are getting the best of me.  Dam thoughts.
  • This heat is unbearable
  • I miss a friend. I don't think they realize though. How easy people forget the one who was always there.  :::sigh::::
  • I am having a really tough time with the whole to bring or not to bring a human being into this world that will bear our name.  Like, this shit is really tough and playing with my dam emotions. Want to know what makes it harder? The close people to us keep nagging as well.  You are not helping things, so stop.
  • I am so happy I started blogging again regularly. I missed y'all. Amazing some of the friendships I have here.
  • Why is it so hard for people to understand why I blog?  You know, the people = non-bloggers.  They think it's a waste of time. Well, I am here to tell you it's not.  It's not a waste of time because it's not YOUR time.  It's my time. I love blogging. I have my reasons and if you don't like it, then don't read it. But if you are a non-blogger and read my blog, THANK YOU for being awesome.  Leave me a comment letting me know.  Please. So I can thank you in person as well the next time I see you.  You are being supportive of me and that makes me happy.
  • Why do certain things seem to take forever to fall into place??!?!?!?!  grrrrr
  • I have to keep reminding myself this : I am ME. That's all that matters.  I may not be perfect, but I am ME.
  • I have failed at many things in life.  Some things I am not proud of. But it's the past, I can only look to the future. Cheers to changing those fails into successes.  I WILL do it. Even if it's by myself kicking and screaming and failing fifty more times before I get it right. At least I will be doing something, whether small or big.
  • I feel like bursting out into tears right now because I am just so overwhelmed with emotions.
  • That time of the month REALLY throws in a monkey wrench.  Please let this week be over sooner than later so I can handle my head again.
  • Why on earth do women have to suffer from mother effin cramps?!?!!?  I. want. to. rip. my. insides. out. NOW.
  • Did I tell you all that I have the cutest pups ever? I do. I really do.
  • I challenge you to go to someone today and tell them that they are beautiful.  Those words, you are beautiful, do A LOT for a person. Go do it. I'll start... YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
  • I am excited to go to church tomorrow.  I am really liking the new place.  I feel so ...free. God is good.
  • I wish I became a writer.   I think I would have been good at it.
  • I miss my best friend who is having a baby. Like a lot. I wish she lived closer. So I can be there throughout all her firsts with her pregnancy.  Maybe because I can live through for awhile.  I am beyond excited for her and just wish I go baby shopping with her, help her decorate the baby's room, be there waiting in the waiting room for my niece/nephew's arrival. I will be there in spirit, but it's just not the same.
  • After throwing this pity party, I realized how lucky I am to be on this earth today.
  • Thank you for reading this crap of a post of me just throwing up my thoughts. It just seems so much easier to write it out then talk it out.  Pretty sure my best friend is going to call me right away and yell at me for not letting them know.  hahahaa... Always happens.
  • Also, my husband is pretty awesome.  I always tell him, but I don't think he understands how awesome I think he is. Hubs, I know I piss you off, but you do the same to me. We're even. K? But, I love you.  I love you like a shit ton. I love you like a fat kid loves cake.  That is all. :)
Happy Tuesday bloggy peeps.  Go out there and tell someone their beautiful.

Oh the fiber and Magic Mike x2

So, I am trying to get this healthy weight loss kick going.  This morning, I grabbed a box of cereal we had in our pantry and brought it to work.  I am determined to eat this for breakfast every day.

The one I got is Honey Squares and taste wise, for being healthy, it's not that bad.  I feel like I definitely taste the grainy part, but I ate it anyways.  As I am eating, I am reading the box and it says it provides 40% of your daily value of fiber.  Um, that's a lot of fiber no?  Like, am I going to be pooping all day because of this?  It also said that the fiber will make you feel satisfied without eating a lot.  Boy is that true.  If I had any other cereal, I would have still been eating.  But I literally had the serving amount and it was enough.  I don't know if it's because it filled me up or if the grainy taste got to be a bit much.  But, I stopped eating way more than I need to so I am good.

But I am still afraid if I will be pooping all day? hahaha

On another note,  I got to see Magic Mike with my friends AGAIN last night.  Totally worth the five bucks I paid for the ticket.  It was as awesome as the first time.  And my two friends cracked me up during the whole movie.  The comments that were flying out of our mouths was just amazeballs.

Seriously, you need to see this movie just to check out Channing Tatum dance moves.  HOTNESS. He is a dam good stripper dancer.

I can't even think straight right now because I am remembering the movie.  I will leave you with this other picture.  You're welcome.

Fighting like a ninja!

So yeah, I'm a ninja.  A ninja that fights when migraines sneak their ugly head around.
Man, I have been fighting this migraine for the past three days now. NO joke. Advil migraine you are my friend.  Also, I just realized that they recalled Execdrin... in January!!!!!  I did NOT know that and just recently switched to Advil migraine meds.  So yea, I have been putting "bad" Execdrin in my body for god knows how long. At least I am still alive.  Anyways, I might have lost this battle to the migraine last night into this morning.  Ugh.  Well, at least I avoided it for the party I was at on Saturday.

Talking about Saturday, the hubs and I had a blast.  We went to a surprise graduation party for my 3 cousins graduation.  Two graduated high school and one graduated middle school.  It was a blast.  Great to hang with family we don't see often and overall a fun relaxing day.  I am so proud of those girls.  Love!

Yesterday, I picked up the pups from the PetsHotel and we snuggled and cuddled on the couch all day.  The three of us took not one, but at least two or more naps throughout the day.  We were pretty exhausted from the day before and the hubs was on call yesterday for work, so staying home was the best choice for us.  And how adorable is the pups sleeping:

You better be dying of cuteness overload with that pic.  Seriously, don't I have the cutest pup EVER! Say yes if you still want to be BFFs with me.  I mean it!

I am ready to start off the week!  Great things will be happening. Also, my fat ass needs to get out and walking so I am going to get it done this week too.  I must lose this fat belly of mine because it is seriously starting to give me grief.

And, I am going to see Magic Mike AGAIN tonight with my friends.  WINNING!

It's 4am and I smell poop

That title = true statement.

My pups is sick.  She got up in the middle of the night and pooped all over my floor.  I woke up to the smell of said poop.  Eewwww.  But I felt so bad because she is not feeling well.  We have been up since 4am and she has gone outside about 4 times.  She is suffering from some diarrhea and I am just torn.  I feel so bad.  We will be bringing her over to the vet today.  I am going to meet the hubs there straight from work.

I am so worried. But hopefully she just caught some bug and meds will get her to feel better soon.

But, despite being sick this mornng and me being totally exhausted... Sadie still managed to be a bit happy.  Here she is this morning at about 5:00AM... chewing on her favorite bone while we cuddled on the couch.

Let's see how I get through today without freaking out about how Sadie is doing.  5 o'clock needs to get here ASAP so I can be with my baby girl at the vets.

Stupid face

Happy Hump day my bloggy peeps.  I don't know about you, but I am just busy busy busy as a busy busy busy bee.  Get that? Good.

So, as I mentioned before, this past weekend we went to the lake for some summer time fun.  Our luck, it ended up being 100 degrees out.  Wowzers. The heat literally kept punching me in my face every two seconds. But what sucks the most about heat and sun is that it wreaks havoc on my skin.  I suffer from being one of the unlucky people to have Rosacea.  It's a skin disorder and it just sucks monkey balls.  It makes my face irritate, super duper dry, red bumps all over.  I look like I have a really bad disease where people wonder if I am even human.  Now, a lot of my friends might not even realize because I ALWAYS have make-up on.  It has become second nature to have some kind of coverage on my face.  Yes, I try to hide the rosacea because it is just not a pretty sight.  It's embarrassing, makes me feel REALLY self conscious about myself.  I know it's a medical condition, blah blah blah..... but still, stupid society doesn't make it easy not being "normal."  So, I use make up all the time. And to those "friends" who like to talk shit behind my back about me always wearing make-up (yeah, just because you talk to other friends doesn't mean it doesn't get back to me).... ANYWAYS.... so yeah, that's why I wear make up all the time. IN YOUR FACE.  Naturally, after this weekend in hot and humid weather, my face decided to blow the eff up on Saturday.  Red blotches everywhere.  le sigh.  So, this week I decided to mask the face up and moisturizer like it's no one business so I can have a semi decent face for a party I have to go to Saturday.
So here you all are, a glimpse of the scary mask woman face that I am pretty Sadie didn't know if I was her furbaby mama or a stranger walking around the house in a tank and underwear.

my embarrassing picture.... but I like how my ponytail is up so high and "cute" looking. Reminds me of six grade.
Here's to hoping that some TLC on my face this weeks pays off.  Also, here's hoping that I finally make an appt with the new dermatologist so we can get back on track on fixing my face.

Also, Sadie seemed to have a long day.  This is how she fell asleep yesterday.

I am surprised she didn't end up sliding off the couch with her head like that.

The art of balancing friends, family, dogs, food, fun, Twilight movies, sickness, work, babies, etc.

So I was all set to write a post about my whole weekend, but something sparked this post in my mind.

My weekend was a freakin blast first of all.  I spent with some of my favorite people and boy did we have fun. We went to the lake on Saturday when it was 100 degrees, but thankfully, our shaded spot didn't make it feel like that. We cooked and ate a lot. I took no pictures. FAIL.

But, what I really want to talk about is BALANCE.  Balance as in everything you do in life.

This is not an easy task to complete.  It's hard. Like mother effin hard.  But it is something that you should always be working on.  Seems that some people forget about balance.  I hope you realize that when you forget about keeping a healthy balance, you lose one side of it. Sometimes, when that side of the scale is lost, it might not come back.

So, I think the hubs and I balance our life out pretty well.  Now, everyone has their opinion and I am sure some people think we don't balance our lives pretty well, which is fine.  But what we should always remember is that we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.  Even if you're the bestest of friends, let's face it, us humans don't give up everything. It's our nature.

We have TONS of close friends.  I guess we dont' think we should only have a few close friends. Or maybe we just got lucky with a ton of close friends who matter in our lives.  Now, it's always a juggling act when trying to spread our love with all of our close friends.  Yes, we have a circle that we always hang out with, but we also shy away from the circle to balance it out with our other close friends.  Our friends come from all walks of life as well- they live close, live far, married with kids, married without kids, single, in a relationship, going through good times, going through bad times, etc. We always try to keep that in mind. Just because you have a set of friends that are not in the same spot as you, doesn't mean you should shun them away.  I call it equal opportunity.

The same goes for balance your work life as well.  I think this is even harder and I am still trying to figure this one out.  But slowly and surely, I am getting there.  When work sucks major balls, don't bring it home.  Leave it at that door!  Easier said than done, I KNOW, but it can be done.  Apply the same rules at work too.  Let's not assume we know what the other person's job is, because in reality, we don't.  Their boss can be slamming them with work left and right while your boss is a little more lenient.  Everyone has their work style.  Let them be and worry about your job.  In the end, your performance is what determines your capability.

EVERYONE IS BUSY.  But remember, you make yourself busy.  You can always say no.  I am the queen of being busy.  We are always doing this and doing that.  Some people may see it as us not prioritizing and living our life the way they THINK we should.  But come on people, again, you have no idea what happens behind closed doors.  So who are we to say "well, they should be doing this or doing that...".  I will admit, I sometimes do this as well.  But I try to remind myself all the time to not judge or think I know what is going on. Not an easy thing to do, but it is DOABLE.

So, I challenge you today to map out your life, and see where the scale has tipped over too much.  Go out and pick up those lost pieces and try to put them back on the scale.  Because sometimes, those pieces are the reasons we are in life at this present moment.  And that is something that no one forgets.

Happy balancing.

The couch loved me yesterday and getting punched in the face

I hope you all had a very happy 4th of July. I don't know about where you live, but here in Jersey it was mother effin hot.  Like, too hot for me.  Every time I went outside to walk the dog, that heat PUNCHED ME IN MY FACE. Like BAM in your face curly hair girl with the dog.  Serious, that's what I heard the heat say.  My hair took on a life of it's own because of the humidity.  The dog didn't even want to walk because it was so freaking hot.  So, Sadie and I made an executive decision.  We did this all day yesterday while the hubs was out working:

Yep, we laid on the couch.  It was glorious. While our AC blew wonderful cold air at our faces. We watched The Help, and tons of other TV.  And you know what, it was fantastic.  I have been on the go for the last couple of weeks.  Every weekend has been jam packed so I took the day yesterday to do NOTHING.  I didn't even shower.  In my pj's all day.  The couch gladly accepted my big fat ass as I snuggled into it.  I think the couch missed me.

We did do some walking around the house.  See....

We weren't super lazy.  Oh well.  I did eventually get up to do some light cleaning and I also made some frozen bananas dipped in chocolate.  AND I cooked dinner.  So bam, I was productive.

I also decided to start my workout.  I tried disc one and let me tell you, I was so proud of myself.  I did really good considering I am in no shape at all.  But my body aches this morning.  That's a good sign right?  Is it also a good sign that yawning makes my body hurt? Seriously!!!  I am so afraid to yawn.

Today is going to be a killer day.  As soon as I get home I have a shit ton of stuff to do.  We need to run to Costco to pick up some burgers and dogs for our outing this weekend, then come home and I need to bake some cupcakes for the weekend, then pack us and the dog for our weekend adventure.  Sadie is going to the dog hotel for one night and doggy day camp the day after so I have to separate her food and pack her stuff up.  We are heading to my bestie's house Friday night and having a  good ole fashion sleepover with a bunch of friends.  So excited.  On Saturday, we are getting up at the crack of dawn to head over to Lake Hopatcong for some summer bbq and lake fun.  We have to leave early though because it gets full very fast and the bestie lives five minutes away.  Hence the sleepover.  This is going to be a shit show people.  A whole bunch of grown hilarious adults and throw in some alcohol.... yeah, this will be a weekend to remember.

Also, how much does it suck to come to work for two days, have off in the middle, then come back for two more days.  This is a bummer!  Hopefully today goes by fast.

Happy Thirsty Thursday bloggy peeps!  Have a margarita.... it's OK.  Treat yourself.

People in bloggy land actually love me!

BAM, in your face! I got not one, but TWO awards from the lovely Shanny.
So here are the rules:
1. Link back to whoever nominated you.
2. Write 11 random facts about yourself.
3. Nominate 11 bloggers.

The next couple were rules from the Liebster award:
4. Let everyone know when you nominate them.
5. Make up 11 questions for them to answer.
6. Answer the questions that have been given to you.

Since I just posted a random blog post, I am going to break the rule :::GASP::: and skip down to the questions Shanny has for me.

1- Do you have a phobia? What is it?
I am scared of bugs crawling up my nose while I sleep.  Seriously, did you know that happens to you when you sleep? eewwww

2- What came first, the chicken or the egg?

3- Describe yourself in 3 words.
fun-sized; sweet, giggly

4- Are you a night person or a morning person?
Morning person.  And this is why I take care of the dog in the morning when she wakes up at 6:30. Hubs does the night duty.

5- What is your favorite dessert?
Flan... or Dominican cake... or wait, anything chocolate!!! Sorry but I just can't pick one.

6- Love at first sight, yay or nay?
nay. Don't believe in love at first sight.

7- Which one would you choose: books, clothes, or gadgets?
Neither, I would choose ebooks!  hahaha... I know know... it is in the same category of books.  I love my Nook.

8- What is your favorite hobby?

9- Where are you right now?
Work, wanting these hours to go by fast since tomorrow is a holiday and I get to relax.

10- Why do you blog?
Because it makes me happy when my funny posts makes someone out there who is having a bad day smile.

11- What is your favorite season?

Now, since I am lazy and all, I am going to nominate a few bloggers and have you answer the same questions above.  Shanny did a good job.  I don't want to ruin it. Ha!  Or you can break the the rules like I did and do what you want.  I won't hold it against you.

And I nominate the following bloggy loves:
Sassy Ms. Ginger
Just a Jersey Girl
My Life My Way
Northwest Grits
Married Filing Joint

Enjoy ladies.... and if you haven't checked them out yet... they are must add ons to your reader!

Blog Star: Hi, I'm Mrs. Newlywed Giggles

Mrs. Monologues

Hey there.  I want to start of by saying I'm awesome.  Yep. I'm awesome.  Is that too forward? Oh. Sorry about that.  Must be my awesomeness.
Any who... what better way  to get to know me than by me answering the most random questions.  These questions might be familiar to some of you.  These are the same questions I asked my featured bloggers to answer.  Here are my responses:

Have you ever made out in a movie theater?
Heck Yeah! Isn't that part of being a teenager? I feel like it was a requirement.

Do you have an innie or outtie?

Do you parallel park or drive around the block?
I will always attempt to parallel park first.  After the fifth time of me making a fool out of myself while the hubs is utterly frustrated, I then consider driving around the block.

Do you scrunch or fold your toilet paper?
I use to be a scruncher, but now I am a folder.  I feel like I wasted more when I was scruncher.  Let's face it, toilet paper isn't cheap!

Did you buy Girl Scout cookies this year?
I did not.  The hubs on the other hand did.  They  get him every time.  Those dam girl scouts.

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?

M.A.C.  A girl can never have too much make-up.

Do you sing in the shower?

Yes.  Pandora app is my best friend when I'm in the shower.  I am sure my neighbors have nominated me for awards.  I should probably start looking for a designer dress huh?

What movie do you know every line to?
Dirty Dancing.  I know the words to BOTH the movie and soundtrack (double disc original soundtrack).  Yeah, I made sure you knew that the soundtrack is double disc. I'm corny.

Have you ever been stuck in an elevator?

Nope. Thank goodness.

Who inspires you?
God.  Because of Him, I am on this earth.  My mission: make the best of it.

Welcome to my blog.  I hope you stick around for some giggles.
I promise you that I'm awesome.

Jul 2, 2012

I was pretty buzzed by 5pm on Sunday.

Yeah, you read that right.  But let's start with Friday.  Friday was a shitty day.  I was out of all sorts on Friday.  More like wanted to crawl into a hole and have no one find me. But, that day has gone, thank goodness.

Saturday during the afternoon I had a bridal shower to attend.  I had such a blast meeting some new people at my table, and my friend was GORGEOUS.  I am so excited for her wedding this fall.  And I also won at one of the bridal shower games!!!! We had names of famous people on our back, and I was able to guess that I was Wendy Williams!  We had fun asking each other the questions.  Then Saturday night, we went to a wake for my sis-in-crime's grandmother who passed away.  My heart felt so heavy for her, but she was doing great.  She spoke at the service and made me cry.  But they had so many family and friends gathered there so it was nice to see everyone come together at a time like that.

Because there were so many people in the room, there were no seats and a lot of us were standing.  It was pretty hot too since there were tons of people.  Well, my friend fainted and fell down.  Moment of panic, but after the fact, like hours later, we coudln't stop making fun of her.   Good thing, we made her laugh.  :)

So after the wake, us and our friends were starving, so headed back towards home and stop to grab some grub.  Then, since we were all together, we decided to hit up the bar and have a few drinks along with a few laughs.  Example:
Our bartender sucked major ass.  Here my friend is looking at his glass and seeing that there is something floating in his  beer.  It ended up being a mint leave.  This happened TWICE.  EEWWW... clean your glasses bartender!

Me and the bestie who fainted but clearly feeling much better here.

Our friends making fun of the bestie.  Reenacting her fainting spell.

I had I think about 2 of these on Sunday when we were watching the EuroCup final soccer game between Spain and Italy.

Then the bartender gave me a free sample of the margarita and I ordered another margarita, passion fruit! It was so yum!
Sunday, those drinks were consumed and a buzz was apparant by 5pm.  Thankfully, I am not hungover, had more time to get rid of the headache last night.  It was a crazy busy weekend and I am excited for this week!

Now, off to be productive at work and get my shit done. Happy Monday bloggy peeps.
