Prayers please
I will thank you in advance for your prayers.
I do have a funny story that happened to my mother and I while we were at the hospital, but I will save that for tomorrow. :)
Warning: Do NOT put person in washer
Anyways, so we were at the laundromat and I was loading the white clothes. As I'm loading I notice this warning label:

Woman plucking her chin hair in car.

Yep, You read it right! This morning as I pulled up to the traffic light, I looked to my left and saw a woman with her face all up in the her visor's mirror with a tweezer in her hand. Now, at first I thought this woman was maybe plucking her eyebrow that she may have noticed was "sticking" out, but as I continued my gaze towards her way, I was wrong. The woman was plucking her chin hairs (please note that I wrote hairs as in plural). Now, I would think you would probably only have one chin hair to pluck, but this woman was plucking away for the whole length of the light, and I'm still not convinced that she was done as I drove away.
All I have to say about that, eeewwwww.

Annoying Habit Wednesday!
Whoa! I almost completely forgot that today was annoying habit Wednesday! It's been a whirlwind of a weekend, which I'll post about later, but let's get to the fun part!
OK, so my husband enjoys wearing his slippers. Who wouldn't, all soft and snuggly for your feet, anyways.... What drives me insane is that he leaves them exactly in the same spot he takes them off. So, if he walks into the bedroom and takes them off in front of the door, that is where they stay for me to trip on when it's 6:30 AM in the morning as I am making my way to the bathroom to get ready for work. I have found them in the middle of the living room as well. It wouldn't bother me as much if he at least pushed them to the side, but nope, they stay right in the middle.
So, there you have it. I have come to the conclusion to be fair, I will alternate the annoying habits by my husband picking one for one week, and I pick the next. We will be alternating the weeks. Stay tuned to next week's annoying habit!
Hope everyone is having a good week and I promise to fill you all in about my best friend's wedding that was this past Monday.

Snuggie + Robber = A crime that's warm and fuzzy
So what does a snuggie and a robber equal? Snuggie-wearing Newton teen accused of trying to break into a store. This article was sent to me by husband late afternoon yesterday. First of all, the reason he sent it to me is because I keep trying to convince him to buy me a snuggie because I would SO use it all the time. So, I read the story and say, wow, how crazy that this teen was wearing a snuggie in a robbery. But, as soon as I finished the article, my husband told me to read the comments. Boy, some people are hilarious! I posted some comments to the story below, but make sure you visit the link to read all of them which is worth your time because it is funny!
So, below some comments:
"Ryzner-Meredith is charged with criminal mischief, attempted burglary and possession of burglar's tools."
And possession of a dangerously comfortable and warm blanket/shirt hybrid.
- ...announced today that the state senate has a law HR3245 that will put electronic tracers in Snuggies so this crime doesn't happen again.
- I wonder when Charlton Heston and the National Snuggie Association (NSnA) will get involved.
- The Snuggie Thuggies!
- If the poor guy was low on funds, he should have just sold the free reading light.

YUMM-O
Yesterday I looked in my freezer to see what I can take out for dinner tomorrow, and all I had was some hot dogs, one ice pop, tub of ice cream, and ground beef. So, I opted for the ground beef and decided I would make some meatballs. I looked online for some recipes and found this one which turned out amazing! So, I came home and this is what I made for dinner:
Homemade meatballs

Ziti pasta

Roasted garlic diced tomatoes in a tomato sauce

Dinner came out so good and best part, it was easy!
It took me ONE HOUR, from START to FINISH! How? Let me tell you...
All the ingredients are mixed together so I used my hands to mush everything up in the ground meat, then of course making the balls was fast and easy too... Sidenote: The mushing of the ground meat was kind of like those stress reliever balls you buy to relax... lol.
I placed the meatballs in the oven and those baked for about 25 minutes. While I did that, I put on the pot of water for the pasta and at the same time simmered the sauce. Everything was finished all at the same time, and I wasn't running around like a maniac in the kitchen mixing this, checking this, moving this, etc.
Best part, clean-up was literally 20 minutes! How? Again, let me tell you...
I only had two pots to clean, the pasta and sauce one which was a snap (thank goodness for non-stick pots). Then, had to clean two sets of utensils, dinner plates, and cooking utensils. Easy. Best part for the meatballs, no cleaning required. This is where you learn that aluminum foil is a girl's best friend in the kitchen when it comes to baking in the oven. I just placed a sheet over the cookie sheet and placed the meatballs on top. When done, I just rolled up the foil (Heavy Duty) and threw away in the trash.
So, dinner was a huge success tonight! It was yummy and fast.
Oh yeah, forgot to add that while I was cooking, I also had the chance to season a 1 1/2 pound pot roast that I am going to put in the crock pot tomorrow before I leave work so it's done when I get home. :)
The joys of cooking a healthy, fast, and easy meal....

Annoying Habit Wednesday!
Annoying Habit Wednesday............starts now!
So, in my earlier post I stated that I would start this post every Wednesday. So, here we go for the first post.
What's funny is that as I was sitting and wondering which annoying habit would be first, I decided to ask my husband for his input. His response: "Talking to me when I'm in the middle of playing a game or watching a movie" Of course, when I was asking him his input, I was asking him while he was in the middle of playing a game. Sometimes, I feel as if the PS3 is my second husband that I married since it gets in the way sometimes of our time together. But, I do enjoy playing video games as well so can't complain too much.
Anyone else deal with this annoying habit? Please share your stories in comments.
I ♥ comments!
Recap:
Annoying Habit #1: Talking to the husband while he is in the middle of playing a game or watching a movie.
Stay tuned for annoying habit #2 to come next Wednesday!
Crackberry

OK seriously, I'm addicted to my phone, or as many blackberry users say, crackberry! I feel that if I do not have my phone with me, my life is done. Many people have blackberry phones because their jobs give it to them so they can work "more efficient." My case is not so, I have a blackberry as a PERSONAL phone because my life revolves around my calendar. And since us humans spend at least 40 hours a week at work, I input everything into my calendar at work via Outlook. So, I am able to sync my blackberry to my work calendar which includes my personal appointments. Now, what's real funny is that I have a work phone as well. The work phone is a Motorola razor.
My blackberry sleeps next to me on the window sill, is usually always by my side and my best friend.
Is it sad that I am addicted? I say no because every other person I know most likely owns a blackberry and they have the same symptoms I do. So, we think we are all normal.
But what is even more hilarious is that there is a site dedicated for us. Take a look at the crackberry site.

The single life....
But I am excited for the guys... Why you ask? Because that means that tonight I will have these things to myself:

I am soooooo excited. What you learn when you are married is that you have to share EVERYTHING.... which is fine, but sometimes, it's nice when you can have one thing all to yourself... You know, like when you were single. :)
I will be curled up on the couch tonight watching my recorded shows of Ellen (I LOVE her and think she's hilarious). I might even go to the movie theatre by myself to watch a romantic comedy that my husband would most likely not go with me to watch.
Ahhhhh..... the joys of a night for just ME.

Yes, my umbrella is big
Don't judge me because I walk in the rain with an umbrella that is HUGE. Just because I'm a five foot tall petite girl, doesn't mean I like to get wet when walking around with a small umbrella. I don't enjoy being soaked when it's raining.

Just because you look like the picture below walking around with an umbrella that is the size of a child's umbrella is NOT my fault.

You're wet and I'm not since I'm walking around with my picnic table umbrella.
Don't be jealous!

Assignment - What side of the bed?
Then, I saw this cartoon and brought me to another point. Things I learned about my husbands and my sleep habits while living together:
- He is the blanket hogger
- I am the bed hogger
- I snore (please note that I never hid this fact from my husband, but I guess listening to it everyday it's starting to annoy him. Oh well)
- I gravitate towards the middle of the bed during the middle of the night
- He hates it when I gravitate towards the middle of the bed
- He sleeps on his back
- I sleep on my side
- Because of our sleeping styles, my elbow is ALWAYS jamming up against his ribcage (this happens when I gravitate towards the middle)
- He can sleep all morning long
- I can only sleep until maybe 9:30am (that's really pushing it) even if I went to bed at 6am and am extremely tired. My body is just trained to get up early since I get up at 6am for work everyday.
The joys of living with a boy....
