That moment...

That moment when...

  • You get excited about something and know you will be dam good at it, and the chance that you feel you should have gotten is stripped away without even a consideration.  Yeah, that's what I'm dealing with now. It is what it is, but damn that shit still burns.
That moment when...
  • it feels like there is bubble machine going on inside your belly thanks to my 19 week old human moving around in my belly.  I will still tell you that it's not cool, but super weird.
That moment when...
  • you realize that you will be away this weekend away from all the chaos of home.  Hello 3 day weekend!
That moment when...
  • you also realize that your belly is getting bigger from this tiny human inside of you and you need to do some serious maternity shopping.  Ugh... have I mentioned how I don't like going shopping? Yeah, I don't.
That moment when...
  • you realize that some people have great intentions and today I was reminded of how lucky I am to learn a lot from two people and that they value my work.
That moment when...
  • you are walking around with a bottle that originally had ice tea in it but I fill it with water now, and someone asks you what you are drinking since the label says ice tea but the liquid is clear.  I said moonshine and walked away.  This moment is during work.  Yep, such satisfaction in walking away and not explaining why the preggo could possibly be drinking moonshine at work.  People need to mind their business.
That moment when...
  • you realize that God is good, even though he throws monkey wrenches your way and sometimes really makes you contemplate on our purpose in this world.  I just have to keep reminding myself that He knows best and my plan may have many road bumps, but somewhere down the road, I will reach a place of pure bliss.

Old Navy has tons of awesome Maternity stuff right now!

And I hear you on point 1. Something tells me it has to do with your contracting gig. Contracting is great but it does also suck sometimes.

God IS good. And is it weird that I cannot wait to be pregnant and maternity shop?! I think Baby bumps are so adorable LOL!

I totally feel you on the first one. It really stinks but I'm having to move on too!

I have to remind myself of the last one all the time.
