Ain't Nobody Got Time for Golden Globes... but I do for Game of Thrones

I really hope you all had a good weekend.
I did not watch the Golden Globe awards since it seems that everyone and their mother did.  So, you won't be seeing any info about that on here.  But I did watch some TV, or shall I say a lot.  I watched two seasons worth of Game of Thrones.

Everyone always talked about how great the show was and hubs was just dying for me to park my ass on the couch and watch the marathon that was on.  So I did.  I think the show is good, not the greatest show ever ::GASP::: , I know.  But at least I have some time to watch season 3 before the next season comes out so I can be all caught up.  Hubs told me season 3 get better.... I hope he is right.

Saturday, I went to the salon to get my hair done and got a keratin treatment to calm down my unruly curls.  Has anyone done this before?  I am hoping it helps since I have lots of curly hair.  Living a life with no frizz seems to not be a possibility but they say the keratin treatment helps so we will see in the next coming weeks.  But let me tell you, when a curly hair woman gets her hair straightened out, there will be a lot of pictures. For example:

We went out to dinner with friends on Saturday night and my meal was so dam good.  Plus side is that we found a new restaurant that does NOT disappoint and it's close to our apt too.

Yesterday I saw this picture floating around on facebook and I had to share.  Most dog owners go through this....

The last pic is probably the most epic one.  The only thing I would add is the woman holding her cell phone camera and taking a pic of the adorable dog taking up the whole dam bed.
Oh wait, is that only me?  Am I the only one who does that?  oooopsies.

Game of Thrones is an AMAZING show! Season 3 was awesome. The end of one episode made me jump up off the couch with my jaw hanging down and my husband jumped up too and said "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!" Great great stuff!!!!

I purchased the Game of Thrones book box set at xmas for my kindle for $9.99! I have not seen the show but a lot my friends are into it. I am hoping this will be a winter Netflix show for us.
I LOVE your straight hair. No apologies for the selfies - it looks so soft and shiny :0)

I really need to get into Game of Thrones! Of course, first on my list is Shameless. And Breaking Bad. Ugh, my list keeps growing. I did watch the Golden Globes, I just didnt feel the need to blog about it.
Your hair looks AMAZING! Love it! My cousin has super kinky curls, and she swears by those keratin treatments. hers are like those tiny, tight curls, and you'd never know from looking at pictures of her straight hair that it was naturally curly!

I am literally counting down until Game of Thrones comes back! Definitely one of my favorite shows. And I agree with your hubs, season 3 is AWESOME.

I've done keratin once, and it lasted for almost 6 months! But then I kinda missed my waves- can't win!! Love the pics- you look fantastic!

I started watching Game of Thrones reluctantly with hubby, he kinda wasn't interested either but his brothers convinced him. Needless to say we are caught up and now are both hooked waiting for the next season to premiere this spring.

BTW, your hair looks great! I haven't had keratin done myself but I've done the treatment to others at a salon I worked at. It lasts a long time.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog, I love it!
