Holy poo, another birthday

Time flies by so freakin fast! It has been a year already since my birthday.  Tomorrow I have the joy of turning 28.  But what is weird is that I am not even excited about it.   People are telling me, oh forget the age, it's just a number.  But I am totally not even freaking out by the age.  I am going to be 28.  I am young.  It just feels like BLAH.

Maybe the fact that we have to go to a christening smack in the middle of the day probably doesn't help.  But I hear the restaurant they are having the reception after is really good, so that got my hopes up.  But, yeah..... do I have plans for my bday tomorrow?  I have no idea.  What sucks about your birthday in the summer is that people are ALWAYS busy with bbqs, parties, smushing, down the shore, fist pumping.  What sucks even more is that when your birthday is on a Saturday during the last weeks of summer, then people are for sure smushing, fist pumping, down the shore, at a bbq.  Yes. I'm from Jersey... bitches!

So, in order to celebrate my birthday like an adult I am, we have decided to go to Medieval Times next Friday.  This will be a joint celebration with another adult friend whose birthday is this month too.  I am excited.  I am going to wear my birthday sash.  Yeah I am.

Holy crap, my phone that I have been waiting for ALL day just arrived which means cutting this post short to setup my new phone.  I leave you with a pic of me and the hubs from the wedding we went to in DR this past month.  Don't you just love my hat!!!!

xoxo

Happy Belated Birthday!!!! And you have your birthday on a weekend when people don't check their facebook pages and don't realize that it's your birthday! BOO!

My girls have the same issue. It will be Labor Day weekend, every time. So, yeah, they will be SOL when it comes to kiddie attendance at their bday parties...
