So we just got back from vacation and it was awesome. We were blessed to go on the vacation for our friends destination wedding in Dominican Republic. It was hot and humid the whole time.
My curly hair took on a life of its own. My hair was so big it probably could have had its own zip code! Nothing I tried worked to get my hair down. Gel, hair spray, leave in conditioner, and hair serum was no match for the heat. But after day one, I let my hair free. My hair was free to go in whichever way it wanted to. I have pictures to prove it!
Our friends wedding was beautiful. The bride looked stunning! Her hair piece was something of exquisite beauty. The groom was very handsome with his suit on. I give him props for wearing the suit for an outdoor ceremony under the blazing 97 degree sun!
But overall, we had a fantastic time bonding with some old friends that we don't get to see often and also bonding with some new friends we made on the trip as well!
So many people say after a vacation "back to reality", but I don't. I say "continuing with my life!" Vacation shouldn't be something that is beyond on reality. Reality is YOUR life. If you say "back to reality" after a vacation then something is just not right. I am glad to say that after this vacation, I can continue with my life and keep living it to the fullest.
I seriously don't comprehend people who never take vacations. What is wrong with you? Why work so much and not enjoy a vacation? And taking a vacation doesn't always mean to hop on a plane and spend a shit ton of money either. Its taking time to relax and not worry. To forget about your routine for a bit. Why on earth people don't do that is beyond on me.
I haven't blogged in a very long time. Last time I know I wrote "I am back", and then never posted. I guess life happened and writing took step back for me. I missed it a lot though. But I also think I realized that I wasn't writing to my full potential. I have a lot to say and was worried what my readers think. It is my blog, why on earth I worried what people thought was stupid of me. I blog, you read. If you don't like it, then oh well. Right? Well, this blog might turn into a different tune from my previous blogging. Let's just say there is a lot of stupid and annoying things in this world and I am excited to share this with fellow bloggers. Let's make make it a laughing and giggling experience as well. I am Mrs. Newlywed Giggles so I have to make sure I make you giggle.
Lets have a toast to new blogging style!
Ok, now I am going to bed because we have pulled an all nighter for our 3am flight home this morning. My body is missing all the good food and all the alcohol. We will call the symptons of crankiness I am having due to withdrawal from "all inclusive resort unlimited food and alcohol syndrome." Good night my bloggy friends and hope to get back on the blogging train!
